As businesses and markets become more integrated, data driven and complex, old approaches need to be reassessed and new avenues of investigation opened up. This is as true for Frontier Economics as it is for our clients.
Combining market modelling with best practice software
Over the last 15 years we have developed a sophisticated suite of energy market models. These models apply robust economic frameworks and have been used in the largest and most public projects in the Australian energy markets including market reform processes, mergers and acquisitions, and in policy development and implementation.
As part of this wide range of modelling applications and in response to the tremendous level of scrutiny applied to our tools and analysis, we have refined our approach to developing and implementing analytical tools in the area of microeconomic analysis. We are now setting ourselves new challenges in terms of the scale and scope of analysis that we can offer to our clients.
