Brett is a senior economist with extensive experience leading teams that deliver pricing, market analysis and policy advice to decision makers. Joining Frontier Economics from regulator IPART, his experience includes economic regulation in the transport, energy and water sectors and investigations into a wide range of economic issues for government. Brett provides considerable insight for clients given his background in regulatory economics.
Brett’s expertise includes:
- developing evidence-based solutions to complex economic and policy issues, often in an environment where there is a lack of precedent and within a short timeframe
- leading teams to deliver high quality, timely and independent advice
- developing and managing productive working relationships across industry and government
- presenting complex technical information clearly in briefing papers, public reports and public forums.
Brett has also held positions at Ofgem in the UK and Telstra.
