He has advised government and corporate clients in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand, across a range of industries including electricity and gas, air, road and rail transportation, water and wastewater, telecommunications, mining, steel and industrial gases.
Ehson advises on competition matters including market definition, merger clearance processes and the abuse of market dominance. He is an expert in applying qualitative analysis and quantitative techniques to assess the competitive effects of unilateral and coordinated conduct. He has advised and prepared expert reports for submission to competition regulators across the Asia Pacific, including the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS), the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), and the New Zealand Commerce Commission.
In the regulatory sphere, Ehson has advised governments, regulators and service providers on the development and application of regulatory regimes, particularly in energy sector. His experience covers: regulatory policy and reform, regulatory modelling, the estimation of regulated revenues and weighted average cost of capital, the design and application of incentive mechanisms, and tariff design.
