Julia ManchesterEconomist

    Julia is a graduate economist at Frontier Economics who focuses on the economics underpinning the transition to sustainable economies. She works primarily with the energy and environmental, social, governance (ESG) teams to help clients navigate the complexities associated with markets in transition towards a low-carbon economy, using a range of statistical and analytical tools.

    Prior to joining Frontier Economics, Julia worked as an Academic Tutor at The University of Sydney, and as an analyst for an agribusiness investment advisory firm. She also worked as a Sustainability Intern at an energy infrastructure firm, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of the sustainability accounting standards facing different industries.

    Julia graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Economics (Hons I) with a focus on Environmental and Resource Economics. Her honours thesis, which modelled renewable generation levels and coal generator revenues in the National Electricity Market of Australia, won the 2021 AARES Undergraduate Award for NSW.
