Matthew is a senior economist with twenty years of experience in regulatory economics and public policy. He joined Frontier Economics from a senior role at IPART, where he led IPART’s economic regulation of the water and local government sectors in NSW.
Matthew undertakes pricing, policy and regulatory reviews in a range of sectors, with particularly deep expertise and experience in the economic regulation of the water sector (urban and rural). Frontier Economics clients benefit from his regulatory experience, and his strong analytical, problem solving, management, communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
In addition to IPART, Matthew’s experience includes positions as a Senior Economist at the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), and as a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (PwC) Economics team.
