Frontier Economics investigates thermal waste-to-energy, exploring the drivers of emissions and the trade-offs between landfill energy and thermal waste-to-energy.
Tom is an economist, working primarily with Frontier’s energy and regulation practices. He provides advice on microeconomic issues in energy, climate change, water, and other regulated sectors. Tom’s strengths include combining economic insights with robust quantitative analysis, and effectively communicating complex issues.
He works with a wide range of clients including government departments, regulators, and industry participants. Tom has a focus on energy market modelling and price regulation in the energy and water sectors. More broadly he is interested in competition, regulation and market design.
Prior to joining Frontier Economics, Tom was a Senior Economist in the energy team at Deloitte Access Economics, where he was a lead energy market modeller specialising in electricity markets.
